"My Dinner With Paul" is still one of the funniest things I've ever watched.

If Paul is now a singer of soul covers, what will Gene do as a solo venture?

I'm not really a KISS fan, I don't own any albums. But, I saw KISS in 1996 and it was a hell of a show, and worth every penny. I was impressed with the whole production. And, I watched many episodes of Gene Simmons' Family Values. I found it very interesting, and not in a train wreck sort of way. I was more or less fascinated with the life a person like that is able to lead, even if as Paul himself pointed out, there was not much "reality" in that show. In fact, I think I read somewhere that he refused to appear in it for that reason.

But I still think many of the comments in this thread are hilarious.

Whoops, thanks. I guess I confused it with Addams Family Values? Maybe some parallels between the two if you really think about it--both live in mansions, two families with a spooky monster in them...

Even funnier would have been Paul Stanley with an Afro.

Oh, I'll pay twice as much if I was in LA or something when he plays. Sadly I'm not.

It trashed for the Kiss material, but its his high register that's trashed. I think he is switching to music he can sing now. I await with interest.

If his performance of the national anthem is any indication of his existing capabilities ...he needs to keep looking. Perhaps some spoken word records.

Like books on tape? Like maybe in case there's some people here tonight who like to take a little taste of LITERATURE?? Whoa yeah.
"Chapter One: I got somethin' to say to all you people out there. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair... C'mon!!!"
