We have a winner! LOL well fortunately although the Pearl Jam ones are warped they are not significant enough to send them back.

Jesus, very bad warp percentage on this Pearl Jam run...

I'm scared off enough by the 16 bit mastering + the warping to pass on No Code. I already have an original Yield...I'll just stick to the CDs as my "go to" copies of these albums. No big whoop.

    Can't buy every thing...

Well maybe, but I had to take a chance because these are two great albums. Interesting that I actually prefer the sound of Yield compared to No Code and think that Yield easily bests the CD version whereas No Code did not blow me away like a good vinyl pressing can. I have only listened to side one of each album and overall pleased with the sound on both. Packaging beautiful on No Code but the whole photo pack idea might be contributing to warps....not sure?

I've wondered the same as my original is somewhat warped, more so than my other PJ albums. It is relatively a lot of packaging and folds.

Thats either the most ridiculously lucky score of all time, or all of them are CD sourced bootlegs that sound awful

I never experienced warped originals until Riot Act.

I'd do bad things for a reasonably priced copy of Riot Act on wax.

It's probably my least favorite record of theirs, but I got it at Tower back in the day, so it's too sentimental to give up.

I love it for sentimental reasons. It's the album that turned me into a superfan.

I was actually just thinking about this. My theory is it has to do with how the booklet is placed in the cover. Because, only one of my Riot Act LPs has warping.

Riot Act and Lost Dogs are needed to complete the studio recordings on vinyl. I had everything but Binaural.

Received Yield only today (after a month wait). A perfectly flat dirty scratch fest :realmad:

If you don't have one of these LPs, don't bother, this pressing appears to be a disaster.

It's possible. One of the two lps in my copy is mildly warped, but I can't remember which. Nor do I remember which jacket sleeve the booklet originally came in. It was my first new vinyl purchase back in 2003 when I was just starting the collection.

I think if it came out flat from the press and was bent cause of the packing, it should recover. If it doesnt, it's prolly too high cooling rate which leaves internal stresses which will bend the record and only cure for that is pressing it flat at elevated temp with slow enough cooling.

I'd take slight ward any day of the week but hole off-center is intolerable. I'm gonna take my second no code back and get a refund.

Jesus, you don't know how jealous I am! For comparison sake...I paid around $80 for my Korean 1992 copy of Ten, $45 for Vitalogy, and around $35 for Vs. If I was selling that lot it would not be a penny less than $170, great find!!!

Well, I would probably still take my chances especially if you like the albums. They do sound better then the CD versions to me. Although both of my copies had minor warps they play through with almost no surface noise and no other sonic defects. Keepers!
