I agree, they're both wonderful. I love everything they've done.

Sorry. I worded that wrong. The Beatles definitely had some perfect Albums. My choice of language was indeed incorrect. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Have a great day too!

I agree with so many albums from the lists people provided so I'm just trying to think of some outliers. One that came to mind for one reason or another:

    Vivid by Living Color

I feel this album holds up well and I enjoy it from start to finish. I dunno if it's 'perfect' but it's damn good.

“Benji” by Sun Kil Moon has no weak moments—the level is sustained all the way through imho

There's a few albums where I love every song... but none of them are perfect.

    There's no such thing.

Maybe not from the artist’s perspective but in the ear of the beholder? Sure there is

You're supposed to read them first to decide if they are worth reading. You can skip them on subsequent reads - especially if you've been reading the same posts since the sixties & you stopped reading new posts because they aren't as good a the old posts.

I never understand the "nothing is perfect" sentiment , but keep in mind that I'm rather inclined to think that everything is perfect.

I don't like listening to the same thing very often no matter what it is, but doesn't music that you didn't like so much ever grow on you? If you skip something after hearing it one to a handful of times initially, you never give it a chance to grow on you.

Yes it can. I seldom skip tracks. But i do find some tracks on some albums need to be skipped (example - any of the Ginger Baker tracks on Cream albums) & CD players make this a very simple task.

I was about to say, way too many, not possible for them all to be perfect.

    But you nailed it!

I like every song on Deep Purple's Machine Head (quite a bit), but that doesn't make it perfect. To me, perfect means that I wouldn't want to change anything - note choice, instrumentation, production choices ... anything.
