The longer someone's list is, the less likely I am to read it.

    Hence, I'll just nominate three:

    Donovan - Sunshine Superman
Yes - Going For the One
Cat Stevens - Catch Bull At Four

Sorry, can't think of one, in virtually every album listed above I could name one track or more which is much weaker, sometimes a whole side, but I love the rest, e.g. side I of Monndance is sublime but I rarely if ever listen to the other side. Pink Floyd Wish you were here is brilliant but I hate Welcome to the Machine. Who's next is let down by Bargain etc.....

I think Who's Next has a couple of tracks that are letdowns, but Bargain is not one of them.

Nah, I have Infected, and I quite like it, but I can't say it's perfect. I could do without "Out of the Blue", and I'm not so fond of "Sweet Bird of Truth"; I find the distorted vocals somewhat annoying.

Well, as you just named two of the best songs on it, I hope you don't mind that for me it's a perfect album.

Mind you there are some songs that hit a stag of okay-ness but for my money this is the reason I've listened to Genesis to most in my life.

Actually, I take that back. The Lamb has a few bad songs, but barring that... I'd even say Abacab if Who Dunnit doesn't get annoying.

There are a lot of albums where I like (or at least I can tolerate) every song, but here are my personal favorites:

Genesis: A Trick of the Tail
Vertical Horizon: Everything You Want, Go
    Fuel: Something Like Human
    Kiss: Creatures of the Night
    John Mayer: Heavier Things
    Ratt: Out of the Cellar
    John Sykes: Blue Murder
Lily Allen: It's Not Me, It's You
Suede: S/T, Dog Man Star, Head Music
Brett Anderson: Slow Attack, Black Rainbows
    Judas Priest: Firepower
    Third Eye Blind: S/T
    The Who: Who's Next
    Charlotte Sometimes: Sideways
Thirty Seconds to Mars: This Is War
Mötley Crüe: Shout at the Devil
Depeche Mode: Ultra, Playing the Angel, Sounds of the Universe
    David Gilmour: S/T
Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, Wish You Were Here
    The Cure: Bloodflowers
The Beatles: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Black Sabbath: Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules

There are a lot of albums that come close to this definition, but miss the mark either by a song, such as Third Eye Blind's Out of the Vein or Alice in Chains' Black Gives Way to Blue, or I just don't feel have aged very well, such as Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad or Vertical Horizon's Burning the Days. While I still really like these albums, I just don't feel that they're 'perfect' so much now as I perhaps did in previous years.

My avatar and every non soundtrack Beatles album other than BFS (lose Moonlight), Revolver (lose LYT - ok for novelty value maybe keep it on CD where it is easy enough to skip a track), MMT (lose BJW) and White (lose Piggies).

    Sorry George.

I disagree heavily with you regarding Moondance. That album is a masterpiece through and through, btoth sides are just as good. Why would side 2 be worse than side 1?
