First a heads up for those that my not be aware.......20 seconds or so after the last track on disc 2 ends there is a uncredited bonus track. It's the complete 'top please' conversation from Here Today. After this bit you get the isolated Spanish background vocals from I Just Wasn't Made For These Times. Does anyone know what they are saying in Spanish and what it translates to?

Anyone know why we didn't get a stereo mix of Hang On To Your Ego on the box? I assume it's because they don't have the vocal multitrack.

Are there going to be any additional outtakes on the upcoming DVD-A release?

Is the Hang on to Your Ego on the mono/stereo CD a different mix than the one on the box?

    Thanks in advance!

    Surf's Up,

    Chris

I always thought they were just saying "sad, so sad" or something to that effect. As far as "Hang On To Your Ego" they probably wiped the vocals when they did the new version.

Indeed they did. Listen closely to "I Know There's An Answer" and you can hear what's left of the old backing vocals appear very briefly just before the choruses!

Boy, they don't make records like they used to!

The following is sung during the chours of "I Just Wasn't Made For These Times":

    1. Sometimes I feel very sad. (Brian)
    2. Cuando sere? Un dia sere. (In English: When will it be? One day it will be.)
    3. Ain't found the right thing I can put my heart and soul into. (Mike)
    4. People I know don't wanna be where I'm at. (Brian, falsetto)

You are right, "stereo smile" Paul.

Then Brian does all the vocals on IJWMFTT...?
