Before Frampton’s show Sunday night (Aug. 3) at the Palladium in Carmel, IN, fans were told by club management that they were not allowed to take video or use flash photography. However, that didn’t stop one couple up front, who kept taking photos and video all night long despite being told to put their phones away.

PF is such a nice dude, I'm finding the story quite out of character for him.

Narcissist rarely admit fault or feel remorse, so probably not. Good for Frampton:righton:

If concert goers can't follow the rules, than musicians can break the rules as well including breaking their cell phones during the show. Good job Peter.

I think he is a really good guy, but even the nicest guys can get pushed to the limit. Funny though, now the guy has a very interesting story about how he lost his phone.

Taking video I can see why the artist may want to not allow that but taking pictures? Come on!

If they had the flash on, it could be quite distracting. Many people seem to know better, but it seems these folks weren't the courteous type.

I don't blame Frampton! It's getting out of hand, just a few weeks ago my wife and I are at a theatre watching a movie a couple right in front of my wife and I are talking on a cell during the movie. I asked the guy totlk o the phone because we can't hear the movie. The guy turns around to me and says f you. So I go get the manager and he tells them to stop or they will be asked to leave. After the manager leaves the guy turns around to me and says wait till after the movie I'm going to beat your a** I said why wait till the movie is over lets go outside now I was so mad. Anyway the guy was all talk and no game. I was so pissed when the movie was over I followed the guy outside and said you are going to fight me let's go and the chicken walks away. That's what you have to deal with just to go to a movie It's ridiculous!

Ok, I'll tell a story from last night at the Fogerty concert. Two girls in the row behind had the talk going on - the type of non stop yacking smoking dope causes. The show was loud, so it wasn't so bothersome until a soft song was being performed. I turned around and said excuse me I can't hear the music. The two were so oblivious, that after saying this to them three times. The couple next to them, then interviened so they could hear me. They shut up , and several other concert goers in vicinity gave me the knod of approval for speaking up.

Also I think what's happening is that if they say that video is prohibited but photos are ok, then everyone holding their smartphone up in the musicians face will just lie to security and say they're taking photos, so places are prohibiting even photos when they didnt used to

Big PF fan here, and from what I have heard and read about the guy, no way this could happen unless these people were completely off the reservation. I mean, way the hell out there. The man is trying to so his job - which can not be easy when people like this have no ****ing clue.

This should not have fallen back on Peter

    And it's a plain shame
He took the cell phone, tossed it off...

I'm seeing "concert selfies"(front row with performer in the background) becoming more of a thing the past year or two.

There are so many self centered munches that it makes me think twice about going to any live event. You get people that get comped for shows that barely have any idea of what they are seeing. I was at a CSN show at an Atlantic City casino where a group didn't shut there faces no matter what was being played. Clueless Munches.
