Same here. On my first spin right now though...

Was talking to a Newbury Comics employee who bought all seven reissues so far and he said these three were all far better than the first four. He did add Us has a bit too much bass to his ears, and he prefers the Classic press for that one.

Thanks Jeff, for Us, I think i'm going to just stick with the old US compact disc, maybe three songs off it I listen to regularly...

I love Us. Except Kiss the, ahem, Frog- what was he thinking there? Well, I know what he was thinking about, but still....

I tuned out pretty much after US. Had UP but only played it a few times then traded it. Looking forward to getting So and Us.

Rather frank but spot on for a record store employee to mention

I surprised at his candor but appreciated his perspective as an obvious fan/collector.

You might reconsider at this stage - and give a fresh listen.

Yeah its not totally out of the question. There's just so much vinyl coming out right now. Especially in terms of reissues.

    Wow indeed

Send out the signals, deep and loud...

    I saw the 2004 tour
Gabriel played Signal to Noise late in the set
With the Mus'krat vocals pumped in

Most of the crowd had no idea what song this was
    But everyone had goosebumps

    The cd doesn't convey this
Glad the 45 UP release is up to the task

    Cheers.

Just opened 'So' and was in perfect condition. Very glad that these didn't get sent to GZ!

My copy of 'So' arrived today - record 1 very slightly warped but not excessively - surprised as every record I had from Record Industry previously has been super flat...

Oh give it a rest with the GZ bashing - I've got over 100 GZ pressed vinyl records and I haven't had a single dud - that's not down to luck. Absolutely sick of folk peddling this myth that GZ are poor quality - I've had more duds from RTI than I have from GZ - if GZ had done this I doubt that we'd have had quite so many reports of warped pressings on this release...

Record Industry does stuff for Music On Vinyl, right? I have been satisfied with the MOV I have. Looking forward to getting So.

Does anyone know if the PG store is going to get more of this latest bundle manufactured and if they will do the bundle deal again? At some points on the website it says "pre order", but there's no way to actually place the order (as far as I can see).

Which sounds pretty damned decent in its own right, and with DR12 was just in ahead of the loudness wars getting out of hand. Love to be Loved sounds excellent on the original CD and is probably my fave cut from Us.

What's the consensus on the 45rpm of So? Worth picking up? I've got the original UK virgin CD for this release.

After they will have fixed the issues with the preorders, the records will be in stock again. That's what they told me last week..
