Peter Gabriel vinyl re-releases in October?

Can anyone speak to the quality of his work?

 

Hmmm... Insufficient bundles left to fulfil order... I hope they sort this out and I'm not too late...

Y'know, I was gonna go for SECURITY (aka PG IV) but my day-of-release Geffen Records vinyl sounds great! Still.

 

If you haven't heard the Classic Records pressing, you ain't heard nuthin'! The depth, presence, and dynamics are astounding.

I have an original UK Charisma of PG3, and while it's better than the original Geffen I heard, the Classic Records of that opens up the dynamics from the UK.

I'm hoping, for everyone's sake, that these new ones are at least the equal of the Classics.

 

The I-IV bundle just seems to have opened up again (Not so, the "Deutsches" album bundle, at least not yet). So anyone interested should try again.

As someone pointed out, if you do the transaction in pounds rather than dollars, the I-IV bundle comes to about $93 with free shipping. I paid through PayPal.

I have not heard the "Deutsches" albums. How different are they (aside from being sung in German) and are they more of a curiosity, or are they a must?

 

I just want a new Peter Gabriel album, not a reissue, not a remaster, not a remix or an orchestral version... just a brand new album of brand new songs*...

* brand new meaning any song written but not released since the release of "Up" (2002).

Wow, extremely bummed I missed out on the bundles.

I'm not sure if I should just order them all separately or wait for the bundles to go up again.

Yeah, I got the email from the Realworld store last night pretty late.

 

petergabriel.com has a e-mailing list. how many people are in the mailing list I do not know but when I received a email with the bundles offer this were unavailable after a short time

 

I sent them an email 10 minutes ago and they just replied "hi, it’s temporary. should be fixed shortly"

I just looked the bundles are still there to order

 

You can add them to your cart but you get an error message when you try to check out.

Should be resolved shortly, anyway.

 

I ordered the bundle last night around 10:30pm EST. they sent me a confirmation email, no problems.
