They actually made a good KID FRIENDLY movie without sex or cussing, and the little ones can enjoy without having to cover their eyes every other scene..good work!!

The trailer kept me from seeing it.

There was some controversy with how the film treated a character with food allergies.

The main reason I didn't see it is "kid friendly" is often a code for "poop jokes".

my wife took my 4 year old son to see it as he liked the Peter Rabbit series but apparently the movie was a lot more violent and mean spirited than the series.

It is rated PG. I would have thought they would have wanted a G rating for a kids movie.

It’s a run of antics and escalations, stitched together, not unlike a modernised Bugs/Elmer scenario with some good gags and knowing nods (Human female asks something like “When was the last time you saw a rabbit wearing a blue denim jacket from”, that kind of stuff).

However, there’s one or two antics too many, thus the old enui kicks in.

Jeremy Fisher and Johnny Townmouse have fabulous cameos and Pigling Bland is anything but.
