Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his manhattan apartment according to a news bulletin I just got on my phone.

Supposedly he was found "Sunday afternoon" -- but it's only been Sunday afternoon for about an hour and a half. Still, it's inconceivable the WSJ would report it without reliable information. Awful, what a shame.

 

I just read about this on wsj.com. I'm shocked.
