No fair that it said "studio album," because Royal Albert Hall is the greatest music made by Dylan (or maybe by anybody).

But it said studio album, so...Blonde on Blonde.

Very clever scenario -- especially keeping the Bootleg Series out, as I'd be tempted to pick from at least three of those.

The choice is easy for me, though: "Love and Theft." Runner-up would be "World Gone Wrong."

It's either Desire or Slow Train Coming.

I think it would be Desire in the end, because I love Isis, Oh Sister and Sara (and Romance in Durango and Black Diamond Bay and Valley Below and Hurricane) too much to never listen to them again for the rest of my life.

Having said that I surely would miss Gotta Serve Somebody, Precious Angel and I Believe in You and all the other wonderful stuff on Slow Train Coming...

But if forced at gunpoint it would be Desire!

The older I get, the more Oh Mercy resonates with me. Might be my favorite Dylan album period at this point.

Good call — and just as easy to type as the ridiculous and semi-baffling "TOOM"!

These are the kind of threads, that thirty pages later, every album produced will have been mentioned :)

There are so many other Dylan albums I woukd miss though (Nashville Skyline, Planet Waves, Street Legal, Oh Mercy, Love & Theft, just to name a few, not counting the bootleg series).
