Anyone got any cool promo copies of albums?

 

Here's my copy of Devo-Are We Not Men. It's got a promo stamp on the cover, that was covered by a sticker.

 

Next to our local dump theres a second chance store that I had heard was the place to find great vinyl and on my first trip there I found this among
others.
It also came with the Carl and The Passions "So Tough" album.

The Decemberists - Always the Bridesmaid: A Singles Series
No catalog or promo number. These singles were released on 12" vinyl only, this is the only place to get the songs on CD, also includes a second CD of all the songs in their instrumental versions, which are not available anywhere else.


Jewel - You Were Meant for Me
PRCD-6605 Includes an awesome remix of the song not available anywhere else.


Pink Floyd - Money
MONEY-1 Includes the original single version (the 7" version), only place that is available on CD, I think.

 

Nine Inch Nails - Deep
PRCD-1637-2 Includes both the radio edit and album version of this non-album track.

INTR-10853-2 Promo CD Single for this awesome song, includes press paperwork detailing the song and how to promote it on air.

PRCD-10193-2 Includes a remix of "Stone Cold Crazy" by Trent Reznor!


Queen - We Are the Champions
PRCD-10192-2 Includes "We Will Rock You (Ruined by Rick Rubin)" that has a great extended guitar solo that sounds like an alternate take from the original recording session!


Stone Temple Pilots - Creep
PRCD-5339-2 Promo CD Single includes the vastly superior, rerecorded "New Album Version" of this 90s classic.


Roger Waters - The Wall: Berlin 90
CSK-2126 Probably my favorite promo CD, includes a BRAND NEW completely rerecorded version of "Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2" and the 7" version of "When the Tigers Broke Free" on CD for the first time.
