Uh, non-TO #1 and non-TO #3 in your poll are the same.

The Black Triangle CP35 3017 matrix = Black Triangle CP35 3017 matrix CDP 7-46001 2 = Black Face CDP 7-46001 2. Same mastering. How can you put the BT non-TO against the BT Non - TO CDP, against the BF CDP? If you tell me there are noticeable differencies you're full of ka-ka.

Still have to get or hear the 2011 remaster. But I hate buying the same dang music over and over again and still go back to the Black Triangle CP35 3017 matrix/no TO. :sigh:

I only bought my Immersion box for the Blu Ray and the extras. If it had been a 2 channel choice only, I would've passed for the same reason Gary.

This is why I'm passing on The Wall Immersion set.

The poll is flawed, there are a gazillion threads on the "TO vs Non-TO" debate, so how can they possibly be lumped together as one version, when they are different mastering? Same argument for the Harvest Blackface.

I thought the 20th anniversary and the 1992 remaster were the same, as well.

How about the 80's US Capitol, which is no slouch, and IMHO superior to the SACD Redbook and the 1992 remaster.

I also think the black triangle. It just has a great tone that is very different from the MFSL and 2011 (the other versions I have). It's definitely more eq'd, but in a good way. Sounds like a vinyl record.

For CD, some days I feel like the Harvest. Some days I feel like the Sax. On this day I'm partial to the MFSL (Japan). For the most part they all sound good.

  20. MFSL UD-1 for me although I'll admit I've heard the Black Triangle and it is really close between the two.

Both option 1 and option 3 combine the same two completely different masterings ("Non-TO" and "TO"). Impossible to vote.

Good luck getting the folks who paid huge sums Black Triangle to vote for the $11.99 Best Buy version. [I have no idea which is better having heard neither.]

    Exactly. :realmad:

Plus, isn't the 20th anniversary the same as the 1993 Sax?

And, what about the SACD layer of the SACD (which is not as clipped as the redbook) or the blu-ray version of the 2011? (which, again, is not as maxed as the redbook 2011)

And, the US Capitol is missing, which is a unique mastering.
