If you enjoy post-Waters Floyd at all, it is. The recording itself is great, and the performances are consistently enjoyable. And also probably my favorite ever released version of "Comfortably Numb." Gilmour's solo is worth the price of admission on its own.

So true, the best Numb solo ever. Saw them on that tour in Foxboro MA, 20th row center. Cried off and on throughout the concert.

Nothing to do with Bernie, I'm sure it would be AAA if it was just him. If it's digitally mastered then while I understand Mr. Fremer may suggest the vinyl will still be better because my DAC is rubbish or something like that, I'd still prefer to have access to the source files which is what I'll get if there's a 24-bit download. It's quite easy to find those disappointed with the previous reissues compared to original UK copies...of course I understand the disparity in market value too.

If it were cut from tape, I'd get the vinyl. If it's only available on vinyl, I'll get the vinyl.

I'll be ordering from Acoustic Sounds. Looks like they will have it for about a hundred bucks and that will include their excellent packing and FedEx shipping.

Digital or analog doesnt matter much to me, as long as it sounds good. And if the 2016 grundman cuts have been any indication it should be great.

Ordered from Bull Moose, $105, free shipping, excellent packing, delivery on release day. Might have to take the day off from work for this one.

As long as the Pulse vinyl set costs under €100 I'm totally in for that.

Honestly his playing on the whole album is phenomenal. I just know some people think it's too slick...it's certainly nothing like the band's early 70's shows, but it also isn't supposed to be. I've always really loved the Pulse album.

But was the vinyl cut from tape without a digital preview head? This was 1995. It could have be done right, like some titles in the EMI100 series, but I'm just not sure.
