Holy Pink Smoke! I hope they found the Scene at 6:30 Matilda Mother.

Now for totally unfounded speculation, as requested by Rontoon. So we have the Saville Theatre show from Oct 1, 1967 (see far left poster). Given that that was the teaser from the other day, and it's in this set, check out today's teaser.... that's The Man and the Journey, London 1969!!

Now, what is this box set thing in the back of the photograph? I guess it holds vinyl? Anyway, is that a DVD laying on it? Early Floyd with Syd? We can hope. Lots of singles. No mono Piper or SoS is visible.

What is the 45 that is nearest in the photo?

I think we'll just get repros of the posters and programs. I'd be shocked to get any live audio from those shows but we'll see soon enough.

Could the segmented packaging in the back be a fold out of DVDs?

Anyone know what release or poster is in the near foreground with the green shape on the red background?

Yeah. I love David's guitar solos after that, but the early years has the best songwriting.

I don't see anything on Amazon identifying this as a Pink Floyd release.

Also, no reference on the official Pink Floyd website, either.

    If so . . . links?

Anyway here's my wishlist/guess. going by 7 discs.
disc 1-the 65 thing that came out on vinyl and jokers wild
disc 2-Any piper and SOS era songs we have heard about including Scream..and veg Man+Emily and IO acetates
    disc 3-Ansterdam 69 live
disc 4-Paris ,Jan 70 from radio master
disc 5-outtakes or unreleased songs from UG ,AHM and Meddle time period
disc 6-More and OBC altenate versions used in film
    disc 7-live DSOTM show???

Probably totally wrong but thinking this through 7 discs is a lot to fill,as long as it's not 4 Cds and then duplicate DVDs and Blus.If the BBC sessions are finally included is also a great question.Well I waited 36 years for something like this a little bit more won't hurt.

Maybe they are going the Dylan - Cutting Edge route and putting out a comprehensive but expensive version just for the super fans. In that case, there may be other relatively affordable options too. We'll see...

    Great find @rontoon ! You're the man :)

Yeah, the mixing of Syd with non-Syd and CD with vinyl isn't something I care for. Of course, if it has unreleased Syd and I can afford it, I'll be buying it. If that $700 price is correct, it doesn't really matter what's in it, because I won't be buying it.

  25. That price is looney tunes, even for Pink Floyd. This is the kind of stuff I feared after Legacy was able to sell out Dylan's box over $500.
