I guess I am maybe the only one on this thread that have never heard any bootlegs. Therefore a lot of the tracks on this release will be heard with a completely open mind.

In my case, that will applied to... let's say 60 per cent of the unreleased material.
    Never-heard-before classic Pink Floyd...

Just received my box from Amazon UK and to say I'm angry is an understatement. Bad enough that the packaging was terrible....just some brown paper to stop any movement of the main box, but worse than that, the actual main lid of the box was missing! Everything was open and able to move about. In addition the extra disc was missing. All in all not a great start to this boxset. Need to wait and see what Amazon have to say for themselves, but for £375 this is a disgrace.

Yes, I'm sure I'll make my own covers and get them on my shelf that way. Anything bigger than that is tough to store or take in the car.

In this set does anyone know if all of their BBC sessions are complete or are some sessions lost or been wiped

I was referring to the fact that this has been well covered in this thread. No worries.

Bad, if the original footage was shot on film.

Just leaving my local record store and they have the two CD set on the shelf and one box set on the shelf. They want $500 for the box and I left without it. If you're in the Cleveland area and want to pick it up a day early message me and I'll tell you where it's at. I don't want to post it here in the open forum and get them in trouble for streeting it a day early.

Can you check the resolution of the three multichannel releases? Haven't seen that covered...

Today I passed on the offer for buying the box for a largely discounted price, for around 360 EUR.

Who knows how my future-self will look at this decision one year from now? :)

So, we heard, if this is legit, next year the individual boxes will come in separate ways: CD/DVD and CD/BluRay boxes.
Can't decide for it yet because I wanna have high quality footage (BluRay) but at the same time wanna rip the audio to my computer then (DVD). And ripping BluRay content doesn't work with the software stuff I (previously) have.

All of the video content except The Valley and Pompeii is unseen by me. The only unreleased audio I've heard is the The Man and The Journey from Amsterdam. I'm looking forward to the individual sets.

Where did you hear there will be separate DVD and Blu Ray boxes for the individual releases?
