Here's the UPC for the box. Only three hits with google as of now. But I'm sure more will follow.

I should also note that Burning Shed charges you right away, so you're protected from later rises in the pound, but miss out if it drops.

(And they have copies of two Immersion sets for about $80, shipped to the US.)

    FWIW,
    PopMarket has this for $599.99

    o_Oo_Oo_O

    Obviously not a good deal...
Possibly only IF PopMarket rolls out a 20% discount...

My price still appears to be approx. $403.00 (including shipping) from Amazon.it (Italy) to the USA. Maybe I got locked in at a lower rate than it is at present?

I hope these are shipped from overseas in a big protective box like the Small Faces box a couple years ago. That worked out fine. Compared to when they ship in an oversized flimsy cardboard box with a few pieces of packing paper. That doesn't work out so well.

I got there because it was the UPC code used at Bull Moose, for a " 24 disc set " and the last few are 7" singles ?!?!?
    Very weird.

Looks like the Pound has continued to drop. Right now, Burning Shed has the box at $407.45 USD + $48.40 shipping = $455.85 USD. That's about $20 cheaper than when I ordered it on July 28th, and as I mentioned, they charge you when you place the order, so if the Pound rebounds, you keep the lower price, unlike Amazon.

So the Pound cratered a bit this week, meaning the box was about $20 cheaper than what I paid. I emailed Burning Shed to see what happens if the exchange rate continues to drop, and they said that since I was charged in Pounds, I would (naturally) be refunded in Pounds, and so would actually lose money on the deal. Bummer! But not totally unexpected, I guess...

In a bizzare twist of events,I logged in and my order is now showing again for $465.Maybe it was some strange glitch on their end,I don`t know.I wasn`t even sure if I was going to keep this order or cancel depending if the price drops.

Dumb question about pre-ordering from Amazon: I don't have to hit "proceed to check out" to confirm my pre-order, do I? I don't want to pull the trigger just yet, but I want to lock it in at the lower price.

Yes you do need to check out. Price can change within the cart.
