There is no unique material on the two-disc set.

I like the mix a lot, except the endpart with Syd and his guitar, sounding slightly doubled which is too weird.

I guess they would cost 30-50 bucks each book/box. There are no much informations about the separate releases for next year yet.

I think that the new mix lacks the haunting quality of the original.

I agree with you. I personally believe this is high quality , just fragile. I took all the disc out so i wont be opening and closing the booklets. There is low quality audio and video but i knew that before i purchased it.

The 1970 Devi/ation blu ray is stunning. So far its audio visual overload of the senses. Mind melting.

I know, but they kept showing those photographs which all had the stripe the one way and I thought it was odd to use the opposite direction in the titles. Not that it matters at all, just stood out to me.

  22. Since the Pompeii and OBC disc thing is resolved, let me ask...So, is there still the 5.1 Pompeii program as part of the DVD/Blu-Ray disc? And to be clear if that's the case, there is the 5.1 Remix and now a disc with a stereo audio remix?

He was kind of our 'Brian Wilson'.

To be honest, the BBs and BW didn't really mean that much in the UK - still don't, to (probably) most rock fans. Sorry.

What strikes me about those early shots is it's just 4 guys with a small cult following hanging out in the woods or playing a small club. And then 3-4 years later they've got a #1 album and they're selling out football stadiums.

Looking through everything in the box right now. There is memorabilia, along with a booklet of notes, in each of the individual boxes except CONTINU/ATION. All my set has is the notes in that box. Does anyone have memorabilia in that box? Just wondering if my set is missing anything.
