Highly unlikely and wishful thinking but with this not due to November there is still time to update the box to include these items. One can dream anyway!

Great summary. But you left out that the set costs $700. :)

CDs are already manufactured (and artwork too probably). All they had to do until November is to deal with distribution.

CDs only take a few weeks to manufacture, so there is still hope. The artwork and packaging is probably already done though. They wouldn't need to do re-do many CDs...possibly only the one.

I don't want to go into details, but they won't do it. Trust my words

I know. I was joking. PF first announced at $700. Did they adjust your order to the lower price?

Of course they won't, nothing's gonna be changed now, except for the price, which should keep going down to make thousands of people happy. C'mon, you can do it, lads!

Thank you for putting together a such a concise list! I'll help where I can.

I'm pretty sure this was an issue of rights.

I sent Andy Jackson the YouTube link and asked him if this was one of the John Latham tracks. He didn't seem to be familiar with this recording but, to be fair, he had to go through a lot of material.

Some updated versions were sent but it was too late as the discs were already in production. We are currently working on getting Bernie Andrews high-quality recording to the right people for future reference/use. We'll see what becomes of this.

It's too bad that the band were so secretive about this project. Why, what was the point? If any of us knew about it we could have certainly helped out!

Well they had to redo the artwork and promotion material since the 5.1 mixes of Meddle and OBC had to be pulled from this release. :shake:

And to answer a previous question, this does not appear to be a limited release.

Did it was pulled out at the very last minute before press-release?

Why? A standalone release? We fork out $600 for a box set and that's not enough? Greedy bastards!

Would be funny if they do multiple CD pressings of this box, and later the first pressing will be sold higher than average because the first one could have another tracklist or something.^^

Maybe for a standalone (double) album called 'Live At The BBC'? Would be cool to have all BBC sessions bundled on two (or more) CDs like the Beatles/Apple did.

So now Pink Floyd is blocking 4 second clips of things NOT on the box? Christmas on Earth clip.

Many times it's not actually Pink Floyd but rather a "bot" or "code" that searches YouTube for these clips.

But this means even these 4 seconds are registered somewhere...

I tried to use a 10 second clip of Coldplay's "Paradise" in an online presentation for a class and it was blocked...and I didn't say what it was anywhere in the presentation, so there is someway that they can detect these things.
