Perhaps Cars 3 will be a prequel and explain all of Vidiot's conundrums.
What happened to the people? How do cars do tasks without opposable thumbs? :)

    Yup, very sad.

I used to think they could do no wrong.

Wanna make Vid's head really explode? Tell him that Cars 3 features the cast of Finding Nemo...and, takes place at the bottom of an abandoned strip mine.

    That's great, and that's horrible! :) :realmad:

Finding Nemo didn't kill me, but I still b!tch and complain about the whole plot hinging upon the fish's ability to read.

Exactly! Tell me why the cars have seats inside! Who's sitting in those seats? Why do they have steering wheels? Why do the cars have doors with handles?

I could go on all day.

The Incredibles is one of the best Pixar movies... heck, one of the best movies, period. If the sequel is as good as the original, I'm all in.

I gotta say, I love that movie. I suspended my rule that says, "no animated films with live-action characters where you could shoot it just as effectively with humans." I make exceptions for director Brad Bird, who I don't think has ever made a bad movie.

Incredibles was Pixar's best movie... love a sequel.

    As for Cars 3 - I pray it's better than Cars 2.....

The Incredibles is long overdue and so deserving for a sequel. Is Brad Bird coming back to the project? As for CARS, once was enough.

Incredibles 2, I can understand, but Cars 3??

Pixar has totally lost it with the sequels. What was the last completely new film they did?

It's strongly rumored that a new Cars Land is in the works for Florida's Disney Hollywood Studios. This movie could be a good marketing tool. Now if they'd only not make it suck. No more Mater please! Cars 2 was pretty bad.

Hopefully the awfulness of Cars 3 doesn't seep into Incredibles 2. The Incredibles is one of my all-time favorite films and one of my most watched blu-rays. Please don't screw this up.

The sad thing is, despite being rather creatively bankrupt, Cars 3 doesn't have to be bad. But it probably will be.

The Incredibles was what The Fantastic Four movies should have been (but very much weren't!). :)

I think it was Brave, which was pretty mediocre, in my opinion.

Pixar have definitely "jumped the shark" with all of these sequels.

EDIT: I just checked Wikipedia and they do have two original, non-sequel films coming out in 2015, though.

"Incredibles" is my fave Pixar films and one of the best 2000s movies overall. Glad they're doing a sequel, btw 10 years is a bit too late and they should have dumped the "Cars" franchise instead.

Unfortunately, the Cars franchise has more merchandising potential than The Incredibles. We'll probably get up to Cars X: Cars in Space before 2025.

Yep, even though Cars has been sort of a critical flop, it's still a cash cow for Disney/Pixar. Looks like they're going to milk it for everything they can.
