My Smiths US Sire vinyl sounds alright. Not UKs but they’re pretty good.

I think you mean CDs. :)

US vinyl at that time was mostly being pressed for promotional purposes and I believe Columbia House still offered vinyl. Non-club vinyl IMO was still decent quality right up until ‘91. After that, I don’t know. I was living in a college town with a great used CD store.

c-eling They're made of light,We never would have guessed

I've only got Strangeways, sounds like the compact disc
I think that's what I meant by US Sire, same goes for Ministry-Twitch
Some I buy for the simple reason that the vinyl can be had cheaper than the compact disc

I was like a kid in a candy store that day.

Sometimes you can find crazy stuff in the wild. I once found a Sisters of Mercy - No Time To Cry 12” in a charity shop here in North Miami.

Lightning Man was the last Nitzer Ebb 12” that I bought in 1990. It’s a promo.

That’s a good Spandau Ballet record, along with True.

Found two real stinkers in my collection, Stevie Nick Wild Heart and Rock a Little.

Made my teeth hurt. Rubbish (the pressings, that is).
