Wow. I don't have any of these! And Ii have a lot of albums from this time frame.
I have heard Duffy's 'Rockferry' album and like most of it. So I voted for that.

Check/vote Shakespear's Sister, still love that album :)

And Portishead (especially the NYC Live Album) is worth 50$

The Airborne Toxic Event must be very underrated too in their homecountry ;)

Amy MacDonald (2nd best selling single of the last decade) is quite logical, because she's one of Universal's best selling artists together with Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas and Taylor Swift. Though her sound is far less commercial, and is also played at some "classic pop & rock" stations.

White Lies was number 1 in album chart. Yeah Yeah Yeahs number 1 in singles chart.

Ladyhawke is a fun record ...

    etc.

Good round for Portishead. Strange their latest albums gets less votes, while "Machine Gun" was their biggest hit since "Glory Box" and "Roads".

No White Lies (nr. 1 album charts) or Shakespear's Sister (popclassic)?

Only 1 good record made in a whole decade? :shake:

As far as I know "My Bloody Valentine" doesn't belong to the Universal Music Catalog?

For me yes, I spent the whole decade listening to the Beach Boys. I didn't waste my time. Lost decade except for not very known bands (like Gastrd Del Sol).

I'd love to see The Cranberries "No Need to Argue" be released on SACD from the analog master tapes. It's a title that really accompanied me through my teenage years... (yes, I'm young :D)
