Anybody has info about Madness and XTC? Did they release some albums at Universal?

Is V2 (the more alternative/rocklabel) related to UMG Japan?

In Europe it is a division of UMG. Does UMG have access then?

Are you really gonna get the best sound quality on a greatest hits compilation?

    Why no Stones compilations?
I thought they were UMG now

    All of them (Rolling Stones)?

    Maybe a "London Years" reissue?

Maybe not the best soundquality, but near best sound quality (if it's an improvement over redbook cd).
Compilations aren't easy concerning soundquality (e.g. Roxy Music's "Best Of" sacd), but some bands are "single groups" and no "album groups". There are some good sounding compilations: Rolling Stones (London Years), Herman's Hermits (Retrospective), some Steve Hoffman compilations (Searchers, Ritchie Valens,...)

    100 votes!

Let's hope the second "Greatest Hits"-poll will reach the 100 voters as well.
