We won't find "Kicks" in this game any longer.

    Four remain, one must go.

Discussion question: This is a set of songs with one from the 50's all the way to one from the '80's. How many of the original albums on which these appeared do you own (i.e. CLOSER TO HOME for "I'm Your Captain," etc.). On any other forum, I'd be surprised if someone had all 8, but here...probably not so much.

5 Kicks--Paul Revere and the Raiders 6 Feels Like The First Time--Foreigner
    T7 Come Monday--Jimmy Buffett
    T7 Couldn't Stand The Weather--Stevie Ray Vaughan

I have the SRV and Cocker albums, but only because I'm a CD collector. I wouldn't own any of them otherwise, though I'd have Chuck as part of a compilatioon...

  3. I have the Cocker and the S&G.

    GFR must go.

    Cocker, hasn't aged well.

DQ: only SRV. Do I get bonus points for having Closer To Home on 8-track four decades ago?

    Cocker.

Original albums I own are Foreigner, SRV, and GFR all on vinyl; all bought on day of release (except GFR).

DQ: I think the only one that answers the question is CLOSER TO HOME, which I bought circa 1971.

Only the Simon & Garfunkel one on the original album, but Chuck and Joe on compilations.

Only The Boxer on original LP, plus Kicks on a Paul Revere comp (and maybe Johnny B. Goode on a nixed-artists comp).
