Which was a most pleasant surprise.

It's the strongest of this bunch, with honorable mention to Doves.

DQ: as fas as I know the albums, there are no real surprises.

DQ: No surprises--other than fearing before the Eat a Peach game that "Mountain Jam" might win.

Now, if you counted this all-star match, my answer would be Prince exiting in the third round.

 

Golly, as much as I love Leon's music, I gotta vote for his song.

DQ: I would have liked Knife Edge to stick around longer in the ELP vote.

I'm stunned. Doves is genius, was a groundbreaking single at the time.
Must be due to small # of respondents...?

 

DQ: The one that surprised me most was "Lady Blue" departing in the first round of the Leon Russell game. After all, it was the BIG HIT SINGLE.

DQ: Mountain Jam being the worst track and Melissa being the best on 'Eat a Peach' is still mind-boggling to me.

DQ: Well, I agree -- on this one, seeing "Doves" get the boot while "Station to Station" remains is pretty mind-blowing.
