"Superman" met Kryptonite and crashed like a WKRP turkey. We've reached the final. Remember that you're still voting for the weakest link, and not the song you want to win.

Up next - Oatsdad with David Bowie's The Man Who Sold The World.

Discussion question: What would your final pairing have been?

    Dissatisfied, is what I am...........................

(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman (Round 6)
    Attitude (Round 5)
    Pressure (Round 4)
Little Bit of Emotion (Round 3)
    National Health (Round 2)
A Gallon of Gas (Round 2)
    Misery (Round 1)
    Moving Pictures (Round 1)
    In a Space (Round 1)

  2. Voted Catch out as I feel Low Budget is just the better of those 2. If I had my way, we'd be voting for Low Budget & Little Bit Of Emotion.

BTW The 12' blue vinyl single of Superman & Low Budget have really nice extended versions of both songs and they're both really good.

    Voted out "Catch Me....."

I would've had the same pairing as we see here.

    Catch Me Now I'm Falling

    DQ: Superman beating National Health

I'd also have Pressure, Attitude, and A Little Bit Of Emotion ahead of either of the finalists, though I do like both Low Budget and Catch Me Now I'm Falling. I like Gallon Of Gas and In A Space too.
This is a very good album!

    Catch Me Now is falling...

    This is a good final.
Low Budget is the one everyone remembers.

LOL! What an obscure reference. The funny this is, most of here probably got it. :p

Anyway, I too voted out "Catch Me Now I'm Falling". Not a bad song, but a little too long and repetitious.

Voted out 'Low Budget' - good song, but 'Catch Me Now I'm Falling' is a favorite of mine.

This is the final I would have wanted.

No preference between these two. I'd have had "Superman" win.

I always liked how Dave worked in the guitar riff of "Jumpin Jack Flash" on "Catch Me Now I'm Falling". I presume Ray wrote it like that on purpose, as he always enjoyed recycling his own riffs and other people's riffs too.

It's a good thing bands weren't litigious (too much) back then.

I think Ray felt entitled to steal from others since the Doors stole from him! :D

  12. "Pressure" over "National Health"

The original Arista 45 knew which 2 songs to highlight from the album:
