    I hadn't heard of her either UNTIL the rock and roll hall of fame inducted her.
    It's weird when singers you've never heard of get into a place of FAME.
    I guess they REALLY needed to add a female rockabilly star.

    As the title suggests, in this thread, we consider her as the Queen of Rockabilly

    Therefore - in this thread/poll - we don't :shake: give a damn about her country music career.

    P.S.
    By the way, I've voted: I like her very much
    (as the Queen of Rockabilly, of course)

    I've some of my dad's 45s, a signed Gospel album from the '70s, AND... my father-in-law danced with her in Yates Center, KS one time. While the other band of the tour was on stage she was on the floor dancing with people.

    EDIT: He told me this story when her song came on when I was listening to the Loud, Fast, and Out of Control box.

    we backed her up a a while ago, and she was ...well... different ..not easy to work with
