That’s because he’s a wizard at both electric and acoustic. Genius.

But, Ireland is, arguably, one of the British Isles, at least geographically speaking. Of course its then a bit of a leap to call Rory Gallagher a Brit.....

I'm sorry if your favorite guitarist isn't on the list. I've tried the best I can hehe. But I've made a terrible mistake: we got two Steve Jones on the list.

    Favourite - Mick Green.

Should've had Albert Lee on the list, he's A List. Dave Edmunds too. John McGeoch, keith Levene, James Honeyman Scott are worthy of mention. Etc etc...

I’ll forgive you for not including Steve Rothery on the list. Hell, Allan Holdsworth and Andy Latimer should be on there as well.

As a massive Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac fan I have to choose Peter over Danny but Danny's style was pretty exceptional. That vibrato is outrageous. I think where he loses out to Peter for me is that his improvisational skills were more limited and Peter's tone is as good as it gets. Mind you, Danny was only just turned 18 when he joined the Mac and was just 20 when Peter left so I don't want to be too harsh a judge and his skills allowed Peter to move forward with his music. The pair of them were the natural successors to Hank Marvin in many ways and I mean that as the highest possible compliment.

Gary Moore was a Northern Irish guitarist and not a Brit.

If he's from Northern Ireland he's British. Do we have to go over this again?

So Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton are English guitarists, and not Brits?
