    True, true.

The reason Meat Loaf is on the 2nd side of Free for All is because St. Holmes quit during the recording of that album (later to return), but it left Nugent scrambling to find someone to complete the tracks that were left to be recorded.

City Boy, "5705". Not sung by either of their TWO frontmen!

Sung by Felix Pappalardi. Leslie West did most of the leads.

Edit: I seem to remember it incorrectly. They shared it quite even.

How about "Sail On Sailor", which has to be their biggest hit not sung by one of the family or Al/Bruce?

"Barbara Ann" by the Beach Boys. Dean Torrence, who wasn't even in the group, shares lead vocals.

The studio version of "Ridin' the Storm Out" by REO Speedwagon. The lead vocalist was Mike Murphy, who both replaced, and was replaced by, Kevin Cronin.

OMD's "Souvenir" - sung by Paul Humphreys, not their usual singer Andy McClusky.
Paul sings on a few other OMD songs too, but this was their only single (and a whacking big hit too) where he takes the lead, I think.

"Let Go of The Line" from the same album was a Canadian hit as well. It was sung by keyboardist Terry Watkinson, not the usual frontman, Kim Mitchell.

Another one is "He Can't Love You" by the Michael Stanley Band. Their only 40 hit, it was written and sung by keyboardist Kevin Raleigh. (Do I see a pattern here?)

Set Me Free - Utopia (sung by Kasim). I think it was their biggest hit.

Does Oh What A Night count? I'm not familiar enough with the Four Seasons to know for sure.

Of course there's Gregg Rolie duiring the Perry years singing Feeling That Way/Anytime.

Well, it was released as a single, so it must have been at least somewhat popular. It's also noteworthy as the only Bill Wyman song ever released by The Rolling Stones, and the only one not to feature a lead vocal by Jagger (or Richards).

Peaked at #87. Not on any hits compilation to me knowledge. How many top 40 hits did these guys have? (answer 44 UK, 52 US).

Not one of their most popular songs.
