    Hi folks,

hi res / Qobuz fan here. First post. I use a Grace d/a & a Mutec USB anti jitter device at home

I see a lot of the potable players run Android

And can run Tidal or Qobuz apps

But I have a sneaking suspicion (could be mistaken) that there may be a sample rate cap on Android app audio output.?

Also do these portable devices have a sim card to support 4G / mobile streaming?

Am I the only person that is interested in portable steaming?

I can't find any chatter online about the performance of Tidal or Qobuz on these portable units.

Just moving about the house with one in a shirt pocket streaming 192k 24 bit over wifi would do fine for me.

I could dial the rate down to 24 bit 44.1k while out of the house over 4G. (Cost be dammed)

Can someone put me out of my mysery? Tell me what the deal is with these portable players and streaming / the Android apps?

Or how you use them with Qobuz?

    Many thanks.
