DCC Archive possible digital feedback processing?

I have this haunting concept that doesn't seem to go away as a means to enhance standard CDs. Since neither DVD-As nor SACDs are being demanded by the mass market, I'll bring it up here where audiophilia is the standard.

What happens if you have a digital master of DVD-A format on your hard drive along with a standard data stream. (For ease of computation, we convert the possible SACD data from DSD to PCM.) Then, you run the standard CD 44.1kHz/16bit sampled data through an ideal DAC which upsamples it to 192kHz/24bit. "Why?", you ask. I can see how this feedback could tweak a data point to produce a more accurate output above 10kHz as well as restore the leading edge of the transient. Then, use the tweaked data as the master.


What do you think? Have I re-engineered the wheel? I would think this inherently iterative treatment would be fairly idiot proof, as any harmonic errors should be filtered out by most DACs. Am I halucinating?
