I'm 20 and live/have lived far away from most places concerts were held. I'm so thankful my list is, kind of, as long as it is! 1. Foo Fighters, Pensacola, FL, 2008 2. Little River Band/Grand Funk Railroad, Panama City, FL, 2009 3. KISS, Pensacola, FL, 2009 4. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Panama City, FL, 2010 5. Zappa Plays Zappa, Bridgeport, CT, 2010 6. Zappa Plays Zappa, Bridgeport, CT, 2011 7. De Luna Fest, Pensacola, FL, 2012 Day 1: Fishbone Jimmy Cliff The Gaslight Anthem Guided By Voices Pearl Jam Day 2: Joan Jett Pete Doherty The Silos The Joy Formidable Bob Mould Foo Fighters 8. Rush, Orlando, FL, 2013 9. Megadeth, Orlando, FL, 2013 10. Judas Priest, Hollywood, FL, 2014 11. Collective Soul, Orlando, FL, 2015 12. Rush, Tampa, FL, 2015 DeLuna Fest in 2012 was EASILY the greatest weekend I've ever experienced in my entire life. My favorite band is Foo Fighters and my friends favorite band is Pearl Jam. COULD IT GET ANY MORE PERFECT THAN THAT?! There's nothing like being DEAD from standing on the sandy beach all day long waiting for your favorite band to come on only to have to hold each other up to keep each other from falling down out of exhaustion, all the while screaming along in a crowd of 30,000 to Pearl Jam playing "Alive".
I used to keep track religiously, back when I was going to a lot of shows. I think my list topped out around 300. I don't get out much anymore unless King's X is playing within in a 3 mile radius. I've seen them 30+ times since 1991. I used to have a list of venues also, scary how many of them are gone now.
I haven't been to many concerts due to my age (and somewhat limited tastes ), but I'll post the ones that I've been to, in addition to a few that I'd like to go to this year. These are all from either Cincinnati or Columbus: Santana - July 6, 2010 Rush - July 2, 2013 Aerosmith, (with Miles Kennedy and Slash opening) - July 22, 2014 Judas Priest, (with Saxon opening) - May 17, 2015 Rush - June 28, 2015 Queensryche, (with Meytal and Halcyon Way opening) - January 27, 2016 I'm planning on seeing the following acts later this year, but nothing's set in stone yet: Yngwie Malmsteen - April 25 Dream Theater - April 27 Whitford/St. Holmes - June 16 Peter Gabriel and Sting - June 21 Heart, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and Cheap Trick - July 22 Journey and the Doobie Brothers - July 29
I can't even imagine. I've seen one band well over a hundred times, another pushing 50 quite a few more 5 or 10 times and countless others. I see 20 - 30 concerts (non club shows) a year. Ive seen 5 or 6 already this year, have tickets for another 13 between Memorial Day and mid September. I just turned 37 and have been a pretty serious concert attendee since I was 16. Obviously the number of shows have grown as my budget has. It's nice to be a DINK household - dual income, no kids
That's some pretty impressive record keeping. I don't have a single ticket stub saved, just some foggy memories of major events. The one ticket stub I did save for a while was for a Stevie Wonder MSG concert where I sat a section or two away from a block of roped off seats that were being saved for what turned out to be Keith Richards and entourage. He arrived late and left early and I followed him out and got his autograph on the ticket stub.

Impossible. I have seen 188 GD concerts and over 300 featuring core GD members and would not even attempt listing all of those, let along trying to name all of what I would guesstimate to be 1000 shows since I started going around 77.
I've seen hundreds of shows dating back to 1977. About 80% of these shows I still have old ticket stubs. I lost a number of stubs to older great shows from the early 80’s when my wallet which held my favorite stubs and numerous guitar pics was stolen during a Christmas night home invasion robbery in ’86. When I moved out of that condo in mid ’87, I found the wallet utterly cleaned out on top of my carport. Through the late 70’s and most of the 80’s I used to either have a little pocket day planner that I’d carry around with me or wall calendar that I’d write down upcoming shows and even comments and setlists after the concert. Once a year was finished, I’d throw the calendar or planner in my end-of-year personal (like tax crap, etc) box in the garage. But my memory is still pretty solid with just about any of these shows – I can look at just about any date and still recall key songs played, notable aspects about that show, etc. Years ago, I started keeping a Word doc and update it with new shows I'd see. I basically cut and pasted the text from that into this post...... 1977 Van Halen and Y&T? OP --- Post All the Concerts You Have Attended...Here's Mine It'd take me too long to compile a comprehensive list. I can't remember them all in one posting. First one though...with my parents Duke Ellington, Count Basie, The Woody Herman Orchestra and more..Newport Jazz Festival 1968. Last one.... Probably the Twilight Concert Series in Salt Lake with....uhhh....Morning Jacket ?
I can't be bothered to look up all of the dates (I have them written down at home) and as you'll see, 95% of the shows I've seen are in Boston, but off the top of my head: Blur (Boston) Gorillaz (Boston) Damon Albarn (Boston) Rush (3 times) (Boston/Mansfield) R.E.M. (3 times) (1 in London, 1 in Boston/Mansfield, 1 in Jones Beach) Page and Plant (Boston) The Who (Boston/Mansfield) The Allman Brothers Band (Boston/Mansfield) Radiohead (Boston) Supergrass (2 times) (Boston) Semisonic (Boston) Ride (Boston) Paul McCartney (Boston) Ringo Starr (Providence) Peter Frampton (Webster, MA) Johnny Winter (Newmarket, NH) The Black Crowes (Boston/Mansfield) Oasis (Boston/Mansfield) Spacehog (3 times) (1 in Jones Beach, 2 in Boston/Mansfield) Dream Theater (Boston) Zappa Plays Zappa (Boston) Billy Joel (coming up this summer) (Boston) Beck (2 times) There was a big gap between 2005 and 2011 where my wife and I had all 4 of our kids and I barely went to any shows (maybe 1 in that entire span) so I've been trying to make up for it in recent years.
Social Distortion 1986 The Damned 3 times The Ramones3 times The Stranglers The Gruesomes No Means No U.K.Subs The Vibrators The Buzzcocks The Cramps U2 Radiohead (ok Computer tour) Yes Robert Gordon Neil Young Twice Porcupine Tree 5 times Opeth Blackfield Ocean Colour Scene (Toronto) The Flower Kings 2 times Jethro Tull Tangerine Dream Nazareth Frank Black Charlie Hunter Steve Hogarth New Model Army (Impurity Tour) Elvis Costello Wilco (Ghost tour) Spoon 2015 Morphine All in Montréal except as mention. Probably forgot some...Lol There is lot of bands I want to see but they don't come here up north to much....
Impossible to put a precise figure on it at this point. I keep a lot of my stubs, but some have been destroyed over the years. Even if I attempted to compile a list from memory, I would struggle to recall all the shows where I paid on the door, or was on the guest list. (I was a music writer for ten years, so that's a lot.) Best guess is somewhere in the high hundreds; 800-900 is a fair estimate. Some years, I would hit 40-50 easily.
Lots of great lists here that make me jealous. I was born in 1965 so I missed the 1960s and 70s completely. I started in 1980 and here are some of my greatest memories: AC/DC 1980, 2003. Genesis 1981, 1987, 1992. Mike Oldfield 1981, 1982, 1984, 1992 (Edinburgh), 1993, 1998 (London), 1999, 2006. Frank Zappa 1982. Tina Turner 1985 (Support Bryan Adams). Immaculate Fools 1987 (London). Eric Clapton 1987. Fleetwood Mac 1988, 1990, 2003, 2009. Paul McCartney 1989, 1993, 2003, 2009. Yoko Ono 1986. Ringo Starr 1992. Sting 1991. Velvet Underground 1993. Rolling Stones 1995 (London), 2003 (with AC/DC). Bruce Springsteen 1999, 2003, 2006 (Seeger Sessions) Eagles 1996, 2006. Roger Hodgson 1998 (Las Vegas). Paul Simon 1987, 2000, 2011. Peter Gabriel 1987, 1993. Bryan Ferry 1988, 2005 (Live 8 Berlin, with Roxy Music) Neil Young / Bob Dylan, 1996. Jackson Browne 1996, 2003, 2006 (with David Lindley). The Who 1997, 2006, 2007. Art Garfunkel 1997. Oasis 1997. Emerson Lake and Palmer 1997. Peter Green 1997. Brian Wilson 2002, 2004, 2005 (Live 8 Berlin) Sheryl Crow 2003, 2008. Billy Joel 2006. George Michael 2006. Leonard Cohen 2008. Lyle Lovett 2009. Jean Michel Jarre 2010. Yusuf / Cat Stevens 2011. John Mellencamp 2011. Tom Petty 2012. The Beach Boys 2012. Monty Python 2014 (London). Steven Wilson 2016. Joe Jackson (several great gigs between 1989 and 2016). ...coming soon: Elvis Costello solo (May 2016)

I haven't seen many concerts, so my post will be much shorter that some of yours. Testament/????/Helloween. My first concert. I do not remember the middle band as they sucked bad. Genesis. During the We Can't Dance tour at the Silverdome. Foghat. This was during the 90s, when there were two different Foghats touring. This was in a litlle bar, and IDK which version I saw. Spin Doctors/Gin Blosssoms/Cracker. We went to see the openers, and left a few songs into the Spin Docs. ????/Ruby. I remember seeing Ruby (1990's one hit wonder) opening, but I have no recollection of who the headliner was. ????/Sponge/Our Lady Peace. Another one where I'm not sure of who the headliner was. All I think I remember is that the middle band had to drop out, and Sponge filled in for them on short notice. Hinder/Buckcherry/Papa Roach. One my wife wanted to see. Hinder sounded like a wall of distortion, so we left a couple songs into their set. Uncle Kracker. Another concert for the wife. Kiss. It was the tour right before they put the makeup back on in the mid 90s. I was wondering why they were playing so many old songs. Rodriguez. Last concert I went to. Just him & his guitar. Great show. I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two.

No. Read my signature line, then envision two very fat scrapbooks containing print ads, corresponding ticket stubs, concert programs dating back to 1974, and various other scraps of yellowing paper. .
