Best way to do it. Call and ask for media mail shipping which is usually around $3 to $4.

:D Slow day up here, so I figured it was worth getting the phone out and using the QR reader.

I still have no vinyl copy of Idlewild South( or S/T foot that matter). Now I see the Kevin Reeves reissue is available separately (direct metal mastering from 192/24 digital source at Abbey Road). Has anyone tried the new reissues or perhaps even compared them with the MoFi's which are also still available?

  6. Picked up a copy of the cd after buying the DMM vinyl reissue of this fine album. I think it sounds fantastic! It was #00094 for those counting. Very happy to have one.

I can't imagine life without the ABB. Glad you're building you're collection back. Besides the original members I have always enjoyed the 2001-2014 lineup.

  11. Thank you! I ached over the loss terribly, but thankfully have made it through that fog. I have worshipped at the alter of ABB since childhood. The 2001-2014 lineup is definitely getting some attention in the collection as well!

I glad you posted this. In all my years of buying music I have never bought off Discogs, until now. Bought the three CD and Bluray set in mint condition for thirty bucks and from here in the USA. Holy cow!

  15. I indeed had to sell off due to splitting up assets.

Just a happy accident. When I post a Discogs link, it's not for the purpose of pushing an item that's for sale there, even I get sick of such posts (esp. after this week, which has been exhausting chasing prices, shipping, etc.) no, it was for the purpose of showing Bernard the contents, the details.
Glad it worked out for you, though.

Yes, it worked out really well because I have always intended to buy this but it dropped off my radar. I didn't think that you were pushing it but using Discogs as a reference to show Bernard what the contents are. Anyway my order will be here Saturday so once again the SH forums comes through!

The original U.S. Polydor kicks the Mofi to the curb. Thanks for the heads up on this one Dave. Once again MoFi's typically heavy handed EQ on their newer releases makes the original sonically more of flat transfer for a couple of bucks.

I would not read too much into the sale price, it is a great deal. Grab a copy.

You don't understand "dead wood " ? Outdated, no longer selling, only people on a forum like this would still care about a 10 year-old CD.
