Thanks! I'm enjoying the heck out of it. My main system has larger, more expensive components which sound amazing, but this smaller one is extremely rewarding to listen to as well. I end up using it more often because it's in a bedroom away from household noises allowing me to use it anytime I want. The LS50 Wireless are an exceptional value.
Great system, great room, great view! I can't help but think that this is like what Peachtree would come up with if ever consoles became fashionable again!
I auditioned a few speakers yesterday and purchased the Focal Sopra 2 in dogato walnut. I'm not sure I've ever heard voices sound so good in a loudspeaker before. Hopefully, I'll have them within a week or so. I hope you're still enjoying your speakers?
Thanks! Yesterday, the Sonus Faber Olympica III and prior to that, the Wilson Audio (Yvette?), B&W 803Ds and an Aerial Acoustics model that escapes me at the moment. All great speakers and I *really* wanted to love the Sonus Faber the best because they're so easy on the eyes. But in terms of transparency, slam and midrange to die for, it was the right combination for me. And they're a relatively easy speaker to drive as eventually I will want to add a vintage tube amp to my stack.
really nice. wilsons are seriously well designed and engineered speakers as are the MAC amps. congrats.
I've been wanting to paint this wall really dark blue. Finally did it today. It makes all the difference.
Made a few changes yesterday after chasing an earth hum with my TT for 6 months. This change I went with a full solid state configuration now that I can use any of my pre amps ( not possible before with the earth issue). Figured you guys would enjoy a updated pic Enjoy
Very nice and a clean look, no equipment on the floor too. Equipment on the floor always reminds me of my crappy collage days.
