Yeah, Google was suggesting symposia for me to attend in Ohio, of all places. SRA's site seems to be locked. Did find a review

Yes, I got the names of my platforms mixed. I’m using SRA Ohio Class under my turntable and amps and Symposium Super Plus under my speakers. Super Plus

    Sorry for the confusion.

I'm impressed, I didn't mention the speaker cables so you must have recognized them from the picture. Why are you not a big fan of VDH cables?

Some VDH cables are excellent and some less so. Construction is excellent on all of them. I'm running DH Labs now and am very happy with them.

Cables are my fetish, my experience with VDH cables are not so good specially low end models they colouring sound in something "warm".
This is my personal opinion based on couple of IC and speakers cables I try in my system.

I respect your fetish, I just bought the cables years ago because the "man of the audio shop" adviced me. I'll probably won't hear the difference between cheap cables and expensive ones.

If you ask me on that amp I would go with quality cable in simplest construction. So something I believe like its the one you have.
For my taste Sonus Faber is warm enough.

The VDH cables were bought in combination with a NAD 5.1 reciever and Kef Q5 speakers. The Sonus Fabers bought I second handed and were combined with a Marantz PM 7001 KI amplifier. Recently I bought the Yamaha and I like this combination very much.

That's a very nice system. The only similarity is that I also got Sonus Faber speakers..... ;-)

The issue is I don't picture them as severed body parts, I picture them as people he kidnaps and traps under his floorboards. YMMV etc.

Well, that would be weird. If he let me pick out the records for an hour, I could look the other way on kidnapping.

I owned quite a number of interconnects, speaker cables and power cords from them. The low end, especially the very bottom end were not good sounding at all. For instance all you get with The Name is the name...when you start moving up in the line they get much better. In the end their sound was not for me. Kind of like you cables have been a real fetish for me. I have moved away from that and am very happy with the sound I am getting now. Very balanced.
