They are really well made and indestructible and lots color options. I considered them seriously about 15 or so years ago but felt their look was too industrial office like for me. I wanted more of a natural woodsy or modern look for my home. It is cool that they have so many color choices and you can pack a lot into a smaller space
^^there's the Before picture. This week I did a bit of updating... I doubled my vinyl/box set storage shelves and finally got a proper audio rack. New pics:
They're still going strong. Their latest 3 albums are excellent and are easily on par, or better, than their 80s stuff. Heavier, too, if that's your bag.
Some pretty significant updates since my last post in this thread. Audio Note AN-E/LX Hemp speakers Audio Note M2 Phono preamp Audio Note Quest monoblocks Linn LP12
that is fantastic spartree. are you still using the factory 300bs? looks incredible. thanks for the pic.
Lovely look. I'm curious though, have you tried moving the speakers out from the corners a bit or do they sound better in their current location?
Thanks. Factory tubes for now. I’d like to try the AN/Psvane collab 300B when it’s available and proven. Thanks. These speakers are designed for corner placement and in my experience that is where they sound the best.
That’s a function of having a wife and a tiny console table. The M2 is too deep to fit into the shelf, so the compromise (for now) is to put it under. The monos could alternatively go on the floor, but ultimately the wife has the final call. She does not like the “ugly black box” M2 being a centrepiece.
