shot of my system, as of this morning (05/03/2009) i'll have to be relying on my 1986 DENON DCD-1500 CDP, the very first high-end CDP i ever owned, and a phenominally good player in it's own right, until i either get my PIONEER PD-3000/91 serviced, or replaced...

Here is another pic of my basement cell block room. I'm standing way back behind my wet bar.

Heres a link to some pics i took of my room.

I was wondering if you guys had any tips to get better sound reproduction in my room. Its rather small at only 9.5 x 15. I was thinking of trying some bass traps but I'm not really sure what that would entail.

I have the 340 as well but I'm using the older Reference 2 motor. Just wondering, have you done an A/B with the Reference and Verus motor?

I'm curious to hear the difference between the two. Thanks

Thanks! The multi-switch is to redirect one of the tape outs to my computer (Emu 1212m for needle drops). I can't remember the brand of the speaker stands, I got them recently. I LOVE the Mirage speakers.

Yah a wimpy Sr-250, I traded up for more inputs and the availability of DTS and Dolby Digital Decoding along-with a better built in Pre-amp for the TT. And i still have it along with every other Receiver I've ever had

I sure hope you didn't get rid of your Lab-440 turntable! I really liked that one. How does the Yamaha compare?
