Oh yeah, I looked at a schedule (I didn't watch any of the shows, I just looked at a schedule) and knew in advance it was the worst TV season in history!

I've got a new show coming soon, it's called "Psychic Critic", I will be reviewing films and tv shows at least six months before they debut. I will be using my advanced powers of cynicism and elitism to pull off this task.

That could work! So far, it looks like Selfie and The Mysteries of Laura are going down very quickly...

Selfie was a "stunt show" to begin with, it's a shame that they've wasted a great lead pairing in Gillan/Cho on a series not worthy of either of them.

The only new show I'm watching is Madam Secretary, which isn't bad.

It's watchable, although they seem to be falling into the trap of International Crisis Of The Week, fending off the start of WWIII every episode.

And John Cho is a very funny actor who deserves better. I worked on another of his shows that crashed & burned, The Singles Table for Fox, and that actually had some good moments.

I like "Forever" especially the cast. Last Tuesday was the first time I thought the case was worthy of the show. If they can continue to build up that part of the show then I think it will be a winner.

"Bad Judge" is okay although if I forget to watch I don't know if I would think twice about it.

I have "Jane The Virgin" on DVR. I like the lead but I don't know if I will like the plot of it.

I would be happy to say you are right if you could cite a source. I'm tired of looking on the internet and finding nothing about it.

I'm sure you are right then. I will keep watching until it is no longer on. If I were ABC I would have tried it in a less competitive timeslot before giving up on it.

I watched the pilot of Forever, but after I saw the premiere ratings I decided there was basically no chance it would make it to a full season so I didn't bother going any further with it.

Hopefully there will be at least 1 interesting new mid-season replacement show this year, cause nothing from the fall caught my attention. Gotham is "okay" but I'm suffering from superhero burnout...and acute police procedural burnout.

Series 5 of the quality French investigation drama, Engrenages (Spiral) has been filmed and scheduled for screening on Canal+ on Nov 10
and will be screened on BBC4 in January, hard subbed of course.

I finally watched "Jane The Virgin". Wow, that was exhausting. About two years of storylines put into a 40 minute show. I don't know if I will keep going.

But, Gina Rodriguez does deserve to be a star.

They just cut the episode order for Mulaney from 16 episodes down to 13.

Maybe you should post that in the Mulaney thread.

If this means more Huck and Quinn sex scenes I prefer torture, rape, sadism and killing.

Seriously the creepy killer shows are getting to be too much. Wednesday night alone has Criminal Minds, Stalker, and CSI.SVU. Enough already.

I'm put off by Scott Bakula's accent and his saying "Brother" all the time. Does anyone actually speak like this in New Orleans?

    FX cancels "The Bridge".

CW gives full-season orders to "Flash" and "Jane The Virgin".
