Prey For Rock and Roll

Just saw Prey for Rock and Roll, a semi-autobiographical story about an aging leader of an all-chick L.A. rock band. Very entertaining, and a pretty realistic look at the lives of urban rock bands that are close, but haven't made it yet.

Gina Gershon plays the leader of the band and does a great, realistic job. She's actually touring in support of the soundtrack. Much like sports movies, I usually can't willfully suspend my disbelief in rock music movies because the playing is so obviously (or, at best, subtly) WRONG. Not really the case here. Oh, by the way, Gershon very hot! So is the druggie basist!

Anybody else seen this thing?
