    Just noticed that at Amazon.com the asking price is about $ 1000. Is it really going for that price?

    You're way over priced. I am selling mine for $925 although I add a surcharge of $50 to ship to the USA to cover the two minutes it takes me to fill out the customs form and then stand in line for another 5-6 minutes.
