I've been tracking the prices the Stones Remaster Samplers have been selling for on eBay so that Luke & Steve can determine the value of their samplers.:D

Here are the results if the last 14 samplers that sold on eBay:

    2 $102.50 (low)
    3 $165.00
    4 $304.00
    5 $316.00
    6 $102.50
    7 $169.49
    8 $250.00
    9 $104.01
    10 $197.50
    11 $165.00
    12 $165.00
    13 $165.00
    14 $165.00

There are still a few for sale. Get 'em while they're hot!!!

I'd go ahead and sell those suckers. There's nothing gained musically or sonically from buying that measly sampler instead of the individual albums. The money they're throwing away can probably cover the minimum number of albums needed to get all the music. If they're dying to have them, might as well satiate them and get yourself a nice hunk of cash. They'd just buy it from someone else if not you...

Yes, please get rid of them!

I would like to throw some money away, but not too much ... ;)

That's not true. Currently the sampler sounds better on a number of tracks than the individual CDs. Miss Amanda Jones doesn't have noise reduction, Jiving Sister Fanny doesn't have digital clicks, and Under My Thumb doesn't have the "hiss adjustment" in the intro.

There may be other differences, although I'm not sure.
