    True.

    But when you reach a peak of brilliance as high as the one Prince did in 1987, even the barrel scrapings of that period are more compelling than full-fledged work from the journeyman years that follow.

    I guess I brought this over here from the org. I tried not to present it as fact, but as rumoured inside information. Is "Militant" on the org the same person(s) as "The Violet Reality" (on Facebook, Twitter etc.)? The information regarding Purple Rain was correct last time, that's the reason I felt it was ok to pass it on as something more substantial than just speculation.

    Just checked it out for the first time since Prince died. It tipped me off to an upcoming auction of memorabilia.

    If I had an extra $20,000 laying around, I wouldn't mind having the stage microphone from the last concert on the Purple Rain tour.
