I recently purchased a Canon A80 digital camera which was bundled with zoombrowserEX software. I am having one problem that i'm hoping someone can help me with. After choosing one of my pics from all of the thumbnails I have an option to change the size, color, contrast, etc. If I change the size ("zoom in")It asks me if I want to save my changes. I say yes, but when I go back to look at the same pic, it's back to it's original condition. I would like to be able to print the pics with these changes. I also downloaded a free basic version of photoshop and I can't seem to save any changes either. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks.

p.s. As you can probably figure, I am technically challenged :D

I tried an experiment with zoombrowser EX. Made colour and contrast changes, then cropped. You can then use the "save as" button or if you try to close the picture it will ask you if you want to save. Personally, I would use "save as" and then pick a different name like "demo" or something. That way you still have the original unaltered. What I usually do is work with a copy of the original picture set up in a temp folder under zoombrowser EX (subfolder within My Images).

I don't think that you are saving. Maybe you're hitting cancel instead??

Cliff, I wish I was hitting cancel :) But i've tried this many, many times and I can't seem to find the altered image to print.

Where have you pointed the save file to?

You might try saving in My Documents and then going into My Documents and try resizing in there. At least that's how I do it.

Dave is right. It is probably saving it somewhere else.
I always use save as then add a m to the file name.
It will show up at the end of the directory when I do this.
I also do it after copying all the files off the cpq flash to my pc hdd.

This sounds about right. My files are saved in Zoombrowser EX/Image Library One/My Images. This appears to be the default directory. It seems most software do not prompt you to direct where the file should be saved.
