Pro-ject Pre Box DS2 Analogue or Schiit Saga for Schiit Vidar?

Pro-ject has selectable gain and fixed output, something I miss with the Saga. What would be a better match with Vidar?

 

I'm going to bump this because I'm curious as well. I think they'd likely sound different based on the tubes and circuitry. Features of the Pro-ject are nice though. Having a fixed and sub out would be a good add more me personally, but Schiit is always discussed for their bang for the buck. Might be worth the tradeoff.

 

I had the Project Phonobox DS2 and I hated it. Miss were lifted and it just sound off.
