Hi all, I recently purchased the Creative E-MU 0404 to start digitizing my vinyl. When I connect it to the tape outs of my Fisher X-1000, I get this nasty low frequency feedback. No way can I record with that noise in the background. I've been trying to debug this problem a little and have come up with some conclusions: It happens when the Fisher is connected (via the tape outs) to anything that is plugged in. It happens when I go RCA -> 1/8" into the line-in of my Macbook Pro as well. When the Macbook is running on battery power, there is no feedback and I can record my vinyl. I've tried different power outlets with no luck, and unfortunately the E-MU doesn't have the option of running on batteries. I'm sure this problem falls under a more general electricity problem, but I admit I don't really understand that stuff. Anyone know what I can do to overcome this problem?
