    Hello all,

Today I have some free time & an urge to listen to the Beatles white album (all 4 sides in order).

    I own:

    2009 remaster
    30th anniversary CD
    original CD (fatboy edition)

I will probably go with the remaster. But my question to you (in a poll) is what version of the white album would you throw on if you were to settle down to 90+ minutes of pure genius today. ie: your favorite. I don't own any vinyl, but am including a few choices in the poll. I am disregarding cassettes, 8-tracks and computer/Ipod sources. Also, in compliance with forum rules "non-legit" editions are not included. Have fun!

Yesterday I listened to the mono CD all the way through. Was the 22nd or the 25th the date it was released?

good point! Mono or stereo should be included in the 2009 remasters for a choice---but please specify which you prefer by posting

    It's not even close.

  10. 2009 remaster, mostly the stereo version. I don't play the mono a lot.

Lately it's been the mono CD, just because I've only had it for 5 months and it's fresh and different. I'd play my Blue Box LP under normal circumstances.

2009 sstteerreeoo. The mono's an interesting artifact but I discovered the joys of headphones listening to this album endlessly growing up so that's that.

Would be interested to hear why Steve prefers the 87 cd

2009 stereo remaster for me. Really should have been separate stereo and mono 2009 options in the poll

I have close to mint UK mono and stereo vinyl sets. I grab these when I want to listen to the WA. Have to add though that a huge part of my CD collection is in storage and I have still to become familiar with the CD remasters. I am sure they will get some playing time as well, once my move is completed.
