Actually, I was really thinking more along the lines of on CD. Perhaps I should have made that more clear. Not that I have anything against vinyl (lately I've been picking up an LP here and there), but it's just not my format of choice.

Please forgive my ignorance (perhaps I was, er - let's just say 'sick' that day ) but, what is the significance of them being on Ace and Alligator? Are they anti-reissue or something?

 

I see. So, it wouldn't be possible for, say, Audio Fidelity or even MoFi to license the material for an 'audiophile' re-issue?
