I ripped Genesis' Foxtrot to FLAC and created a cue sheet. I was editing it and saw this indexing for the last song, the seven-part "Supper's Ready": FILE "Genesis - 06 - Supper's Ready.flac" WAVE INDEX 01 00:00:00 INDEX 02 03:47:70 INDEX 03 05:44:53 INDEX 04 09:43:68 INDEX 05 11:06:38 INDEX 06 14:19:04 INDEX 07 20:55:32 My CD players read this song as one track, so what does the above mean? I think I've read here somewhere that some older CD players read the "sub" indexes as separate tracks. Does it mean that "Supper's Ready" was actually seven tracks? Rush's song "2112" also has these "sub" indexes (sorry for my layman's terms). Are there any newer players that do this? I was a late comer to CD's (I was a vinyl purist baby!), so I didn't get my first CD player until 1992 or so.
