I've all but given up on seeing Radiohead live.

Never come anywhere close to me.

Ridiculously high prices to get a seat not a mile away from the stage.

I can't imagine their sound translates very well in a large arena. I hate large arena concerts in general, but some bands can get away with it better than others. I feel like the intimacy and details of their music would be lost.

    Sigh...

I can't believe they're playing so many shows close to me! I'm trying for at least Cincinnati and possibly Columbus. I've never bought tickets to a regular show from them before, my only time seeing them was at Lollapalooza. I hope I can get something other than nosebleeds...

It is. At least for the shows I have checked.

For a long time they seemed to avoid Detroit and the couple times they've been by this century, I've had other things going on. I hate to ask something so stupid, but how are they live? I'm considering going, but it's not a cheap ticket.

That presale went easier than I thought. I'm in for floor tickets for Cincy and Columbus. I do hate the will call only stuff. I know why they do it but still. Now I have to make sure I'll be able to actually go both nights.

I'd like to know how there's tickets available on stubhub already.... Decent seats are around 300 to 400 each there. Floor are from 420 each. what was the face value on these?

I do not understand this either. I paid $85 for my floor tickets. Both Cincy and Columbus start at $395 in stub hub. It's a will call only event!!! How these are up for sale?

They must be gearing up for a big UK tour....as they've done two US ones in that time!

Yep - I've been lucky - seen them at Austin, Iceland, Glastonbury, Roundhouse and MSG in last 24 months...

Like most on these boards I’ve seen hundreds and hundreds of shows. The three times I’ve seen Radiohead have all been amazing with Bonaroo 06 being a near mystical experience. If you are thinking of going, go. 90 bucks for floor GA is great value, imo.

The W.A.S.T.E. presale was aptly named as I came up empty for MSG.

For whoever asked, I can attest that they are great live. I saw them in 1996/2001/2004.

I don't know about you but doesn't it seem like the good bands will play Cleveland and Chicago and cruise right by the Mitten.

That's definitely something a lot of bands do now, skip Detroit.

Already seen them 5 or 6 times, when they toured for each album from The Bends up to Hail to the Thief. Think I'm done.

Radiohead have far better respect for the U.S fans than their native ones.

I know the reason I didn't get to see them last year was down to tragic reasons and the date that they rescheduled I couldn't make but I hope they do indeed come back to the UK for something more substantial.

That being said U.S fan should be very thankful some American bands like Pearl Jam couldn't give a a toss about fans in Europe and the UK.

We are getting seriously short changed not just by American bands but in the case of RH bands from are own emerald isle.

    Rant over.

I'm surprised that the Foo Fighters (not my favorite band, but still) are playing at LCA.

Saw them last year in Seattle and it was great. “Burn the Witch” was transcendent. They always put on a great show.
