If Robert Plant could take is 2007 Raising Sand voice and go back in time and make all those records I'd give them all at least a nine and many a 10. What a shame I've never really warmed up to Plant's 60's/70's banshee screaming (kind of did when I and II came out but got tired of it quickly). So many of those songs are so great.

Not meaning to disparage Plant. I just prefer his mature voice.

Oh no, that was a mistake. Didn't see that I happened to type Led Zeppelin I (although without the 'I' the second time) again there. Now if that was intentional, as you seem to think, I have to say that their debut is in no way my favourite LZ album so that really doesn't make any sense at all. But why did I happen to type it again? If only I could edit the post now...

Exactly. That's why I never could get into early Zep. I kinda like his mid 70's rough voice though, particularly on Physical Graffiti.

Yes, I gave In Through the Out Door and Physical Graffiti the same mark, ladies and gentlemen.

 

Well I forgot Album I, this is number 6 then and the rest follows.

 

I see PG and Houses getting a lot of 8-9 ratings and I love both albums but have to agree with those aforementioned ratings. This makes PG a 10 IMO, one disc just shy of 45 min. total

IMO, Houses of the Holy becomes a 10 by putting the track Houses of the Holy in place of The Crunge. To make it a 11 make No Quarter more in the style of the live SRTS version (that solo!)...lol
